Yup, we’re married!
As soon as Isaac passed his powerplant written test (woot!) in the beginning of December, he flew to Minnesota, joining in on the chaotic wedding prep that Leah’s family was hard at work at- which included collecting more than 25 free Christmas trees for the wedding! And that was just one of the many ways God provided for us during the wedding season. (If you’re unimpressed, please go look up how much an artificial 6-foot Christmas tree costs haha.) A week before the wedding, Isaac’s family arrived from Uganda to help out with some of the final details and heavy lifting (the Young’s saved all the tall-person jobs for them). We also had many, many friends and family who sacrificed a lot of their time and energy to help us whip our wedding into shape- we can’t emphasize enough how much it meant to have your help. And I’m happy to say that our candlelit wedding turned out beautifully, if not perfectly.
Thank you to all of you who supported us through attending our wedding, sending gifts, giving hugs, setting up and tearing down, and praying for us. We truly love you guys, and our wedding wouldn’t have been the same without you.
So, with all that said, on December 20th, 2025, we were married at Majestic Pines Community Church in Mahtomedi, Minnesota by Isaac’s dad and were announced as Isaac and Leah Fader for the very first time! (Here’s a YouTube link if you’d like to watch the ceremony: https://youtu.be/0-Va2fsicZA)
