Spring 2026 Prayer Letter

  Fader’s Winter 2026 Update Minnesota, Spokane, and all the States in Between Yup, we’re married! As soon as Isaac passed his powerplant written test (woot!) in the beginning of December, he flew to Minnesota, joining in on the chaotic wedding prep that Leah’s family was hard at work at- which included collecting more than 25 free Christmas trees for the wedding! And that was just one of the many ways God provided for us during the wedding season. (If you’re unimpressed, please go look up how much an artificial 6-foot Christmas tree costs haha.) A week before the wedding, Isaac’s family arrived from Uganda to help out with some of the final details and heavy lifting (the Young’s saved all the tall-person jobs for them). We also had many, many friends and family who sacrificed a lot of their time and energy to help us whip our wedding into shape- we can’t emphasize enough how much it meant to have your help. Fall 2025 Prayer Letter

  Fall 2025 update The learning curve just got steeper. School Update: Powerplant Training! Since July 14, the powerplant training classes have been firing on all cylinders, and at full throttle no less! Powerplant training is all about the engines that propel the airplane. So far, I have learned about the fuel systems, starting and ignition systems, propeller systems, lubrication and airflow systems, and all sorts of cool stuff in between. A particular highlight has been practically applying classroom knowledge out on the apron on Moody Aviation’s engine test stands (pictured above). Not only does running the engines solidify the information learned in class and the books, but I also thoroughly enjoy the rumble of an IO-520 and the whiff of burning aviation gasoline. This semester has been a clear confirmation of the passion that God has given me for aviation, which only excites me further to use this enthusiasm to reach the lost. This fall has also been testing.
